All Things D is reporting that Apple will hold an event to announce the iPad 3 during the first week of March. This would fit perfectly with their iPad 2 launch during the same time last year.
The iPad 3 is suspected to have 2048×1536 Retina Display and a quad-core A6 processor. There are also new rumors floating about that it will only be dual core, like the iPad 2, but lets just hope it is quad.
